As our Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll be on the frontlines of energy innovation, helping to minimize forecast variance and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Here’s the kind of magic you’ll be working on:
- Analyze electricity consumption and generation to uncover hidden trends and anomalies.
- Spot fascinating correlations between customer behavior, wild weather swings, and volatile market shifts.
- Build smarter systems by developing and implementing cutting-edge forecasting methods for day-ahead and intraday trading. Upgrade our existing models while you’re at it.
- Work with our Team to automate the boring bits by streamlining data sourcing, model training, and performance monitoring with clean automations.
- Keep our systems running like clockwork by constantly monitoring and tweaking performance for optimal results.
What makes you a great fit:
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes data, code, and a constant desire to make things better.
Here’s what will make you a rockstar in this role:
- You’ve been crushing ML projects for at least 3 years, taking ideas from whiteboard scribbles to fully-fledged systems.
- Time series forecasting and clustering? If you’ve got experience here, you’re already speaking our language.
- TensorFlow, Keras, or similar ML libraries are your bread and butter.
- You know your way around GitHub for project planning, management, and documentation.
- Python is a huge plus, but if you’re fluent in C++ or Julia, we want to hear from you. Bonus points if SQL doesn’t scare you.
- Experience with GPU programming or CUDA? You’re officially one of our favorite people.
- Docker/Kubernetes skills? That’s a cherry on top.
