What you’ll be up to

tado° is leading the field in how homes will be heated and cooled in the future. We believe that connectivity and intelligent algorithms will improve efficiency, comfort and will enable the new sustainable energy world.
As our PR & Communications Manager (m/f/d) - UK, you will play a key role in shaping the future energy system.
Your mission: to make tado° the go-to name in intelligent home energy management. Whether you're speaking to journalists or other key stakeholders, you'll use bold, creative communications to tell our story and drive our message forward. You will lead our English-language PR & Communications as well as coordinate international agencies to achieve outstanding results.

You’ll be responsible for conception, planning and implementation of UK PR and international communications strategy
Be the go-to person for press contacts, manage media enquiries and prepare for and accompany colleagues to interviews
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners – including PR agencies – to align messaging and make things happen
Create impact by crafting and curating high-quality content that tells our story with clarity and purpose.
Expand and maintain our journalist network
Write and edit compelling press releases, expert articles, and social media content – all in crisp, engaging English
Plan and run press events in the UK that leave a lasting impression.
Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the success of our PR efforts to keep improving and growing our reach

What makes you a great fit:

You have a proven track record in PR & Communications, ideally with an innovative tech company, with at least five years of professional PR experience in an agency, in corporate communications or in journalism
You’re passionate about helping to shape a world powered by sustainable energy
Your strong UK journalist contacts span digital technology, business, and energy – and you're confident navigating these worlds.
You bring excellent interpersonal skills and love collaborating with people from all walks of life.
Your English is flawless, and you know how to take any piece of writing from good to great.
You have an affinity for the writing of creative and precisely formulated text, as well as the ability to prepare complex content in an easily understandable, creative and target-group-oriented manner
You are experienced in organising press events and trade fairs
You have a structured, proactive and independent way of working
